Title: Flying season
Post by: Michael Brooks on February 27, 2007, 08:18:40 AM
The desk in my office faces a window so I always know when it's a great looking day outside. While it's coolish here, it is a beautiful day that reminds me that flying season will be here soon. (Zuriel, we need to meet up with the guys from Memphis really soon!) The wallpaper on my desktop today is a reminder of what really makes flying so great- the people you fly with. This picture was taken in 2001. The plane is Zuriel Armstrong's Force with an OS 40 FS. I'm the stooge while Zuriel messes with the setting. The picture was taken by our good friend, the late Don Dixon. Some of the most enjoyable moments I've ever spent have been with these guys y1 and while there's nothing unusual about this picture, I wanted to share the moment. Flying season and renewed friendships can't come soon enough.

Mike,
I am ready. We need to put something on the calendar, but Zuriel will not let us know what weekends he has off. Like it is Top Secret.

Hey Paul,

I don't think Zuriel actually knows what weekend he's off. I get the feeling that it changes almost daily and gets pushed back each time.  We might just have to show up in the middle of the night without warning, grab him and his planes and head for the field.

WOW!!!  Looking at the picture you posted I know why I have to wear a hat now.  I didn't know you could loose that much hair in such a short time?

It's amazin' ain't it! I don't think I'm any better off anymore, myself. I always have to remind myself that a hat is my friend when I go outside. ;D
