I talked to Lynn about some plans last week.  Guess the web site is "busted"..............as is the old copy machine.  They do have a "new" copy machine that they are trying to get in operation.

Lynn told me that she would get my plans in the mail early this week.........

what plan are you looking for in particular?

I've heard that story twice now and still no plans (on order 10 weeks), so I wouldn't put a lot of faith in what she says. Also  have heard the copy machine story.

I'd now think real hard about ordering anything from them. Sounds like they might be going belly up.

Well you know that Harold Carstens passed on this past summer. "Hal' was definitely the driver behind the scenes. In addition when the real DRIVER vacates that seat, and heirs take over, anything can happen.  ~^
My personal feeling for Flying Models is displayed in "Air Mail", Oct. '09 issue, page 14.

With no other free market magazine supporting aeromodeling other than RC, CL is apt to again take a real nose dive. That would, IMO,  be a sad state of affairs.

Flying Models will continue.

FM is the ONLY magazine that covers all models. They need our support. If people don't subscribe, then it your fault if any publication goes down.

I don't want to see FM go by the wayside, but excuses and bad service WILL and that's not our fault. Subscribe or not.

This reminds me of the Chicken Little story about the sky falling.  People are spoiled these days as if something isn't there in an instant it is a cotastrophy.  I think the media has done too much to scare people about our economy.  DOC Holliday R%%%%
