Going thru my dad’s shop I have found 20-30 years of FM magazines. There are three large plastic crates full. The most recent issue I’ve seen is 2014. I’m guessing they go back to the 80s. I have not gone thru to catalogue them, nor do I plan to. They are in Quincy IL and will make their way to Rockford IL.
Attached is a picture of one of the three crates.
They are free to anyone willing to pick them up. Or, I may be able to deliver to select places. Or we can meet between. We get to the St Louis area frequently and of course, the greater northern IL area and neighboring states are in play. Our kids are in Greenville NC and we occasionally make that drive: Indy, Louisville, Lexington, eastern TN.
If anyone is interested let me know.

Hello Amigo!!
I would not mind having them just because they were Alden's!! I just got through weeding out all the doubles and triples and extra stuff from my collection. I found a worthy benefactor in my area. I don't know if I had any in that time line though in all that I had given him. If you can't find any takers, I'll have him take a quick stock and see if he's interested in them, and if so we'll go from there. If you make a swing down this way I can get them from you then.
I think 2014 was the last year for Flying Models. May I think and I remember thinking that if they could have put out one more issue ( and I think they at least had a cover picked out for a June issue) it could have ended on the same month as when it started as Flying Models, June of 1947. I have Flying models complete through that time frame, so I don't need them f or my collection. Keep me posted
Type at you later,

Loved that magazine, probably one of the best. Too bad I am in MI.

I's tempting, I am down inear Purdue in Indiana so about a 4hour drive... If I get something going up that way in the near future, I'll try and touch base and maybe take em off your hands.
