If you open John Thompson's site called " Flying Lines " he has posted Mike Haverly's new profile... very nice looking .

I thought it was cool. Very interesting design.

Mike does create/build some beautiful planes. H^^

Nice plane. Is it just me or are more planes being covered with iron on now.

I noticed there was a also a link to the latest issue of the Swedish C/L newsletter/magazine Lina. Many of the articles are in English, by some familiar names.

Great pictures too!

When I look at some of the planes in that LINA link I can't help thinking how small our fusalages are compared to the size of the wing and stab.

Members of the Swedish SLIS get a printed copy
https://www.slis.org/information-in-english.html
Otherwise, there's tons of archived PDF versions at https://www.slis.org/lina/
In recent years, there have been lots of articles in English, mixed with the Swedish.
Flying Lines seems to post other newsletters on their front page, too.

Despite the "thread drift", and despite having already seen the picture of Mike's new PROfile, I thought it was silly that nobody had posted the picture or the link to the picture, so.... And, I'm experimenting, because I'm not sure how many (or any) pictures will show up in my post, so I may come back and reduce the number of ways I've attempted to post it...or not. LL~ Steve

Huh. Well, the method that worked was not the one I had a lot of confidence in. All the links should work if you want to click on them, however. D>K Steve

The links work fine Steve , Thanks.

Yah, I was curious about whether any of the three would NOT need to be clicked on or if the picture would just show up, as the middle one did. What little I remember about computering is self-taught by experimenting. This was one of those, and I still don't know why that one worked as I'd hoped. LL~ Steve

Mostly has to do with whether there are appearance points for the event or not. Mike uses film on Profile Stunt and OTS planes. Neither has AP's. Does your crew use AP's for PA and Classic? All the BC and AB contests use AMA rules, so AP's are used on PA and Classic, but none on Profile or OTS. H^^ Steve

Be sure to look at all the features on the "FlyingLines" site. Including "Numerous Fragments". Don't know why, but seems like every time I crash, there is someone with a camera. And the picture ends up in FlyingLines.
