Title: Flying in Sweden
Post by: Vernon Hanbeck on July 10, 2019, 06:43:10 AM
I'm asking for any information about flying fields around Lulea Sweden. I tried talking to a guy running a display at a town fair today but we couldn't get past the language barrier. When asked how to get to the field he simply responded by saying "in a car." Any information yall have would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of R/C clubs are listed in the Stockholm and Uppsala areas. I didn't see anything way up where you are. But maybe if you contacted one of these clubs they might have an English(?) speaker who could steer you right.

Their magazine back issues come up here ; http://slis.org/lina/ . most are worth a look . You wont even need a translation there !.

You can find information on the local R/C club here:
http://www.lulearcklubb.se/ (http://www.lulearcklubb.se/)

How to get there:

Don't think they have any C/L activity (if that is what you are looking for).

I am in the very south of Sweden, quite far from Lulea.

Steffan, thank you for the information. I'm planning on stopping by the field Sunday. I really appreciate all of the info from all of you. I do hope to find some control line stuff around here also.
