Flying Austin TX
« on: December 02, 2017, 12:13:50 PM »
Had some good weather for flying today.  This was Bruce Cunningham and his Nobler with Greg Ellingtons Scared Kitten a modified.  Twister and a profile Cardinal.  Late in the session we got some new people to fly the Cardinal which was a hit.
We're havin some fun now!!

I do love my Cen Tex location  but now that Sean McEntee is Colorado bound, I am a CL guy of ONE again in my rural county

I was jazzed initially on this post.... until the reality set in... 54 miles away--- but due to brain dead Austin planners and growth....literally a 3 hr drive

I can get to my daughter in Dallas 187 miles away faster than to most Austin locations

I live in Clifton (which is between Austin and Ft Worth) and have a 10 acre front yard to fly in. You are welcome any time!

We fly at a jr high football practice field in Hutto TX we also fly by at the RC field at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock TX. I'm not sure where Clifton is but it sounds like fun flying in somebody's yard.

David would be interested to know what sort of recurring C/L flying is done in Round Rock.... long away but do-able

Hutto location absolutely out of range

We are moving to the Temple/Belton area after the first of the year and Hutto is only about 45 minutes away. Would love to come out and meet everyone once we get there!
