I was not able to fly for many years, a few days ago I flew for the first time without getting dizzy. I had vertigo, blood pressure problems and sugar problems. Something happened and all that went away, not sure why but glad it happened.
I went out to fly, ringmaster and a Enya 20, I filled up the tank and my friend Daniel let the plane go, after 12 minutes I signaled for him to take over the flight and he flew for about 6 minutes. I did not get dizzy. I had filled the 31/2 ounce tank up without thinking about the small motor, it did not miss a beat. I learned a lot that day. Now I can get back to the pattern again.

Welcome back !!! A lot of us did not fly for years and had to start again but it is a great feeling to be able to get out in the circle again.

What a wonderful blessing that your physical problems left the circle!!! Welcome back, and many happy flying sessions!

Congratulations John Gunn; it's good to see you flying again!

Great to hear you are back in the circle, John. Hope to see you and Daniel in El Dorado this weekend.

That's great news.

That is great news about your health problems. Me, I just need to get out more often, I hate flying by my self.

WOW John, fantastic!!!!! Welcome back, I know how you must feel. I do have a little BP issue but that doesn't stop me, I have nerve impingement in my right shoulder, elbow and wrist and it really messes with my patterns sometimes.

That is great John; Glad you are back in the circle again. I to have had problems since I have had inner ear infection twice, and it does still bother me but only in the overhead maneuvers, and most times not much. Sometimes I think it is a blessing that any of us can fly at all. Anyway, really glad to have you back flying again. We need all we can get and each of us counts as 1.

I went through the same thing about 4 years ago and was sent to a facility in Redding that specialized in a physical therapy program for vertigo. It worked great and havn't had a problem with it since. My sodium count is for some reason on the high end of normal and the ENT doc I see has advised me to watch sodium intake and that has really helped also.
