Weather has been a bit strange up here in Ontario Canada this year, usually this time of year we are in a deep freeze with 3 feet of snow but this year it's 35f/2c and no snow so I took a plane out to the field and had me a great time. y1 #^

Glad someone is getting some handle time.
We get a warm WINDY day, then rain the next day, then the next day temps drop wind dies. Repeat..... makes for a cold mushy field.

I too have flown on a frozen lake, both C/L and free flight. There are thermals in the middle of a frozen lake!!

Hmmmm....Yeah but closer in memory is the long cold snap we had this year (2011 actually), but I think it's over...I've seen several ground squirrels running around today and they don't come out of hibernation unless it's gonna stay warm...(says here in fine print!) ~> LL~
