Flyers who have left us
« on: March 13, 2018, 02:39:55 PM »
As many of you know, at the Brodak Fly-In, we have a memorial service for people who have attended and later passed away in the year following the previous Fly-In.

In order to prepare, I am compiling a list - if any of you could help us out, I'd appreciate it.

So far, I have Jack Weston, Lou Wollard and a gentleman from Indiana, a scale flyer, first name Roger.

Thanks from John and myself for any help - Bob Z.

Hi Robert,
 Roger Wildman is the fellow from Indiana. He not only flew scale, but was a pretty decent handle in stunt, Old Time, Classic, and PAMPA. He was a great gentleman and friend. He is sorely missed by many. Thanks for including him.
 Blessings;
   Larry

 Just to clarify Robert, I'm pretty sure the correct spelling is Lew Woolard. I'd imagine someone here can confirm.

Thanks Wayne and De Hill - you're correct!

Hi Bob, Mr Wildman also flew at the FlyIn several times. He was a magnificent builder and an intense competitor in all things. He also was a very fine gentleman. Check with Alan Goff for additional information.

Hi, Joseph.
I believe John Ashford has already been covered in the memorial ceremony.
I don't know if Bill Rutherford has ever attended.
The memorial service at the 2018 Fly-In will be for people who have attended the Fly-In any time in the past but have passed on since the 2017 event.

   My mistake Bob. Bill has not ever made Brodak's.
