Can anyone please recommend best method to flush old metal tank installed in older model. Tank not removeable without major surgery. What is best fluid to use for flushing out? Paint thinner? Brake fluid? Acetone? Other?
Thanks for recommendations.

I like the Carb Cleaners from the auto parts store. The little red tube fits inside the 1/8" brass tubing. Spray in an ounce, shake it around & let it set. Shake it around again after a while, drain it out. Repeat till fluid comes out clean.
