Flite Streak tip weight
« on: December 05, 2006, 07:21:55 PM »
Any suggestions on a starting weight for a Flite Streak tip weight?   Building from Pat's plans that he offered free to all of us.  The wing is basically done, just waiting on the leadouts before sheeting the center.  My local hobby shop is 3000 miles away at Virginia Hobbysports.  Long ways from Oregon, so I have to try and plan ahead.

Russell,

I start with about 3/4 oz. depending on engine, length of lines etc.  You can order a weight box to adjust amount of weight or fabricate one of your own.

I ended up with 1/2 oz in my ARF. a little more might have been better.

For the Flite Streak, or anything else, I use the Angledanglemeter.

About .3 ounces more than level, for starters....
