I've got a much abused, epoxy covered, patched up Jr. FS that is at least 15 years old. Covered with some shrink poly weave material ( polyspan?), I has been flown by a bunch of kids, adult newbie, and beginner / basic fliers. Will do all the usual training stuff and come back after a crash. Fuse / tail has broken off multiple times - glued back on.
Used to have a Fox .15 and flew pretty good, but added repair weight behind the wing made it underpowered and a bit tail heavy. That made it kinda hairy to fly, now it's got an OS FP .10 R/C with the carb wired open. The heavier engine / muffler helped balance it. Run fairly fast, it flies pretty mach as good as ever- but faster.
I'd build another but this one won't die.
