Flightradar is probably the best of the tracking sites. Got visitors flying in to see you then just search their flight number and you can follow them all the way from takeoff to landing, even along the taxiways. I use it sometimes just to see how high a plane with contrails might be where you'll see the type of plane plus departure and arrival destinations amongst other details. Click on any plane to see it's details and flight path since takeoff.

Sometimes it's interesting to see what's buzzin' around foreign skies or maybe something unusual in Alaska. You can even track some of the "Janet" aircraft going into Area 51 to a degree. They usually have a WWW at the beginning of the flight number I D. One time I pulled it up and found  15+ helicopters (mostly Eurocopters) near Las Vegas when normally you might see 1 or 2.
