Years ago, this plane was flown to the old Curtiss-Wright plant at Port Columbus (CMH) so that former employees could see it. My son and I watched it take off the following morning.

The engine starts with the prop in normal pitch....then the prop goes to reverse pitch, blows the smoke fwd and the pilot stops the engine.....the reverse pitch is easily seen after the prop stops.
