Today there was a good group to hack a 12 mph wind to test some new stuff.  Always nice to go play with the boys:

7. My latest Desperado w/ RO Jett .61 out for test flights.  Think it will be fine but funny wiggles I need to sort out in less wind.  A great time had by all today!

Great pictures Dave. I hope to get some flying in before the Topeka contest, but I have only been out one day this year so far. The one or two days that have been nice I have had other stuff to do. Thanks for sharing. Looks like you guys had a great day.

What engine is Jim using in his Score ? Is it reworked? How did it fly with that engine?

Sorry I missed that.  It's a stock Super Tigre .51.  Sounds, runs and flies great.  BTW. Darwin's Fazer has a muffled McCoy .40 Custom and does a pretty good job.  The Fazer looks good in the air. I think that covers all the power plants.

Hey Paul. Thank you for your comments,  yes it's my creation.  I'm really liking it a lot and am still learning how best to use its strongest points.

Jim wish you could have  been there.  Your name came a time or two (no worries).  This year the weather has been so strange. Most years I'd already have a gallon or two of fuel burned by now.  So far I'm at about 6 flights for the spring.  Of course those few better days were work days for me so I could only think about it!  Even sat eating my lunch at the flying field a few times and daydreamed about those great patterns I didn't fly those days.  Now it's time for the spring gales and monsoon.  Oh well, it'll happen.  See you at the contest.
