We finally had a decent day in central Indiana. I decided to fly my Tutor II , figuring there wouldn't be a big crowd on Fathers day.
It was a day of firsts, first trial of my stooge, first flights by myself( no helpers). After the first 2 attempts I realized the grass was to tall. I ened up usinng my bed mat from my truck as a runway(usaf rapid runway repair tng kicked in!). Had 2 good flights(3oz fuel) and fairly decent landings. The 3rd flight was a little eventful to say the least. Engine run was not consistent( afterwards saw grass clipping in venturi), then the plane pretty much fell out of the sky. Not sure if it stalled , or what. Only damage was to the muffler, and a broken prop.Although there was damage I did go home in a good mood, as my stooge worked all launches.
Can't wait to try again!!

Search for "Bruline" on the Tower site, or just Google for them. Nice product, tho I suspect they're for airtools or something other than model engines. I personally think they really help starting inverted engines, but also, any engines. Just squirt a little fuel on the filter, and the engine inhales air and fumes...ahhhh, the good stuff!
