Post by: Leester on October 01, 2006, 01:19:22 PM
This is my first scratch build. It is Bobby Jones Miss B J a P-51 style stunter. WS 47 3/4 going to use an L&J Fox 35 projected weight is 32-36 oz (maybe, maybe not) has been fun so far but like Greg I get to bend landing gear now. Here's some pics of the progress.

Hi Lee,

With a nice Reno Racer paint job, that one should be killer!

New pics are 3-6 sorry for the poor focus. I just have the tail wheel and flap fairings to go then sanding the wing and fusalage then dopeing before silkspan. As it is it's 18  1/4oz don't know how that stands for weight.

Leester,

I really like the lines of your new airplane, and you've done a fine job on the build.

Are the plans from Flying Models?  My Dad is a Mustang fan and he's been thinking about building a c/l plane.  This might just be the one to get him going.
