Title: first LOOP in 35 years!!

OK, I know I'm annoying to all you guys but really...I'm excited!!
First loop with a brodak trainer to boot!!
My son was pretty impressed.

I dit a bad move in the end though and bke the propeller and shaft right off the crankshaft.  >:( >:(
Geez, I used to run these cox engines in the ground all the time when I was young and they NEVER broke. >:(

Anyone know whew I can get cox parts?

All the Cox 1/2a engines I know about use a 5-40 screw. If that's what broke, it's an easy fix if you can get the stub out. If the crank itself broke, then there's a Cox supplier in BC, Canada that has most the World's supply of NOS Cox parts. Look in the "Vendor's Corner" for "Cox International", or start checking around at model airplane swap meets. You might also post a "wanted" in the Classifieds or 1/2A forum.  H^^ Steve

I may have several older cox .049s let me see if I can find one that runs well, and I'll send it to ya! H^^

I have a drawer full of lower ends for the Baby Bee type engines. Let me know if you need one.
