Put up 5 flights today with my new Vector. After the first flight I moved the leadouts back about 1/8 inch. After the second I added 1/4oz to the wing tip and another 1/8 back on the leadouts. Total wing tip weight is 1oz. This was one of the first planes I have had where the wings looked proportional to each other upright and inverted. No flap tweaks were needed. The next three flights I did the entire pattern without any problems.
The set up I have now is LA 40 Dixon mod, 11x5 APC prop. Brodak handle with 64 ft/15 lines. Used 15% nitro/20% castor. Next flight I will try 10% nitro/20% castor. Even on the long lines, the planes felt quick with no real break into 2 stroke at all. The 4.5 Magnum tank is plenty big with guaranteed over runs. I will cut that back even more using 10% nitro not 15%. The Brodak covering held up great with only a 3 inch wrinkle on the outboard fuse side. I figure a dozen flights this ARC should be deadly for anyone to use.
