First flight in 10 years
« on: June 14, 2007, 03:07:57 PM »
Hi guys!

I flew C/L this evening for the first time in 10 years. My Nobler took to the air for the first time. I didnt do any "stunts", just plane flight around the circle. Yes, I have to admit it, I did get really dizzy, for a short while I did plan to land the Nobler (engine running) in a large patch of high grass, but soon after the engine ran out of fuel and I did one of the ugliest landings ever done by anyone. The Nobler is still in one piece  #^ I did only one flight, as I begun to feel a little "ill" after the flight  n~

Hey, its great your flying again and having fun.  I doubt if your landings are any worse than some of mine.

Take heart, you readjust to turning in circles really quickly.  Like riding a bike, it'll come back within just a few flights.

Great to hear you doing it again.  Next time put in only half the fuel until you get over the dizzies.  But, still yet when you start doing lazy 8's it won't matter.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

Hi

Went out to the field today and made two flights. In the first one the needle setting was too rich. I adjusted to flight two and the engine was running in a perfect 4-2-4 break and I did my first loops in 10 years, wonderful  #^

I´m still getting a little dizzy, but it was better this time thou.
