Title: Finished Product.
Post by: Andrew Saunders on May 18, 2013, 06:47:38 PM
Heres the finished product of the Caribbean Cruiser. This is the plane that Mike S. from the control line club im a member of ( THE SKYLINERS)  taught me how to build, scratch build, and use a wing jig on. Mike does amazing work and i learned allot about building from him and learned allot of great tricks.  Its had its maiden flight and flies great!!! Its a very solid and stable flying plane. The power plant is an O.S. Max LA 46. Got a 4 ounce tank and has enough time to fly the beginner pattern. All the Graphics were done by CFC Graphics (Avaiojet). They were cut perfectly and looks great!! I would highly recommend CFC Graphics  (Avaiojet) to anyone needing graphic work.

I like it, nice clean and simple.   Now get the flying done without bruising the grass/tarmac.

Mike it performs well. Very solid and stable. Flies level without you having to fight to keep it level and can do the whole stunt pattern . Needs a few more adjustments.

If your gear will provide the clearance, try an APC 12.25 X 3.75 prop & you'll never look back.

Fortunately, it is an off the shelf APC, so it is fairly inexpensive and easy to find.  A quick run down on Tower should find them.

Like Gene allready mention itīs a APC prop, specially made for IC RC 3D Fun Flyers.
You should find them at your LHS ,Tower, or from APC factory directly.
This size is recommend by many OS LA 46 Pilots as one of the very best prop
to match the 4-2-4 OS LA 46 characteristics.
I still have 2 APCīs waiting on the bench for testflight.
But since a few days itīs raining allday cats and dogs and
the field is to much muddy.

Have Fun
Peter
