Financial Support!!!!

Since my last post there have been exactly ZERO new financial members! We are stuck on 77 financial members for 2021!!!!

It is 10 days until Christmas guys come on help out.

Let's make it a bumper 2021 and give Sparky a great Christmas by hitting the Support button and becoming a financial member of the forum.

You guys in the Christmas Give Away, there are 139 entries but only 36% are financial members for 2020 and 2021. How about giving Sparky a hand and becoming a financial member? He's giving how about you?

I won't mention vendors corner or the classifieds users again. It upset too many of you and there were too many complaints. But I still can't understand how you have any dignity accepting a financial gain from the forum but you will not be a financial member?

So guys, put in and help make the forum stronger by being a financial member.

 Suggestion, only current year financial members should be eligible for SH giveaways. Seems only fair.

It is funny Wwwarbird but I thought members who nominated for the Give Away would have had a general sense of fairness and, frankly, have had some dignity to encourage them to become financial member. Not so.....

But I guess that just proves how naive I really am!!

I mean I just don't get it. 139 people entered the draw and only 51 were financial for 2020/21. So 88 members think it is okay to get something for nothing!? Just saddens me really!

To answer your question, about being a financial member to enter the draw, I think that is a fair enough proposal, but, it is Roberts forum and that decision is up to him.

I want to see 200+ financial members for 2021. We have over 200 members on the forum every day and I just don't see how hard it is for members to kick in $20 to ensure the future of the forum. Again I guess I am naive.

I am thinking of suggesting to Robert a raffle. For the right return to Robert and the forum I may be persuaded to offer up an OS 46VF, header and Brian Eather pipe. But it would only be open to 2021 financial members, it would have a limited number of entries, say 200 and it would be say a $10 entry??? On top of financial membership!  But I haven't spoken to Robert yet.

I have often told my self to skip that cup of coffee and roll to send the money to Sparky.  Just think if every body listed in the index gave a $5.00 dollar bill, Sparky may not have to ask for help for a year or so.  Yes, I know there are those noy with us any more that are still listed,  but it would take time to remove the name from the list. 

MERRY CHRISTMAS nay may 2021 be the best year yet.
