As some of you know the Tulsa Gluedobbers flying site is in my front yard. We bought this place 6 years ago and 911 has changed the address 3 times in that 6 years. This created a problem in that if you poke the address in your GPS it can't find it without knowing one of the old addresses. I ran an update on my Garmin last week, low and behold the map finally knows where we are. Yea...
If your GPS has the latest update you can poke "8215 E 586 RD Catoosa, OK" it and it will take you right to the Gluedobbers flying site.
PS might keep an eye on our web cam this weekend, our annual stunt contest will be underway.

Google Maps has that as the address of the "Landmark Missionary Baptist Church" instead of your place a block or two to the west.
-
The church is the next property to the west, if you find the church you are here.
Not sure what the deal with Google is, I'm just happy it gets you on the right street. For the last several years our address didn't exist on any map. Made for some interesting UPS and FedEx delivery issues. If you go to the satellite view I think you can see the circles and the roof of the church.
And just in case anyone is wondering, our engines (even unmuffled) do not bother the church at all. It's sound insulated for the highway noise.

MapQuest will get you close.
If you click on the Satellite button (upper right)and zoOm-in, you can see the Red & Green roofs.
SEE YOU AT OUR STUNT CONTEST THIS WEEKEND ! SEP 27-29 (27th is practice/ fun fly)

A few early arrivals.

Uh Oh 9:45 AM
-
I like that webcam! looks like you have some weather coming in.
-
A few practice flights early on. Right now on rain delay. Lightning just now, dang!
-
Still spittin' rain but good food and good friends help to pass the time.
-
Rain is about over, 1/2 hour or so for the front to clear the area. Should still have enough daylight to get the flights in. Only good thing is usually after a rain event like this the wind drops and we get really nice weather, tomorrow should be a really great day.
-
At least one flight after the storm.
-
We only have half the circles of Brodaks but we could sure match 'em on fog this morning.
-
Just came from the web cam. Still foggy it looks like. Should help the scores. LL~ LL~ I have bright sun shine here at my house. Sure wish I could be there though. Have fun guys/gals.
-
We have Lawn Limo's like Brodak's too.
-
Here are a few pics of the action on Sunday.

Thanks for the great pictures! Sure wanted to make this meet...maybe next year.

Thanks for the pictures Elwyn. I sure hated to miss this year even with the rain as I just missed seeing everyone. My wife has been down with sinus infection and we just could not make it.
