Walked about 1/2 block today. First steps outdoors since the surgery. Really felt good to feel the wind and sun again.

Nice, I know how it felt to you. I spent 4 months in the house with a broken neck. I,ll never forget my wife taking me outside and feeling the sun and wind on my face.

Great news Mike, now don't over do it. Try almost 6 months not being on your feet. Had my legs joined together for month and a half. Nothing like skin and meat grafts to save a leg that gives me nothing but trouble now. Seen a young man at the stock car track Friday night. Has an arificial leg from knee down. Seems a safe that he was working on fell on his leg. They couldn't save it. He is still working on the back of the tow truck and wouldn't know he had the artificial leg without seeing it. H^^

That is wonderful Mike. Nothing like fresh air and sun shine to help you get well. I think we modelers enjoy it more than most.
