Not the best day for flying but not the worst either. About 61 deg. and intermittant winds to 10 mph. Intermittently sunny felt good 'til sun went behind cloud, then got a little chilly.
Good turnout today Willis Swindell, John Tate, Steve Fitton, Jim Welch, Artie Jessup, Willis' grand son Robert, myself and all the way from Klamath Falls, Russell Shaffer.
My first trip to the field in way over a year. I didn't fly but the odor of caster was rejuvenating. y1
It started raining about 3:30, bummer, :( so I left while some one was still there to help me back into the van
I've got too many shots for 1 message so look for part 2. #^

Great pictures, but I wonder about how you guys are launching with the planes in the back ground. Keep having fun, DOC Holliday
PS:Glad you could make it out and hope you didn't over exert yourself. jeh

John
We have to take off in the street and back up about 15 feet to fly. We have been taking bets for years who is going to be the first to screw up and wipe out two or three planes. Before any one says it, we know it’s stupid.
