From "Building and Flying Model Airplanes", Walt Musciano, Funk & Wagnalls, 1972? Pp 106, 108 & 109? Did it ever fly, or did he just do the design?
I think it had to have been built to be classic legal, and if it were you'd want to retain the original airfoil and shape. Otherwise modify as necessary.
I'd put in adjustable lead-outs, weight boxes in the tip and tail, make a canopy (and think out a nice cockpit), and leave the rest alone.
