Thank you for the link. What a way to honor the Men and woman who served.

Really great video!
But I did roll my eyes when I saw the Bearcat pilot with his hat on backwards, he needs a Gibb's slap (NCIS). I must be getting old.
I'm former USAF and hafta say the Blue Angels put on a better show. I remember seeing them at the Cleveland airshow in `79 with their A4's.

Was it just me, or were there two sound tracks going at the same time! Impossible for me to figure out what was happening.
Being a Canadian boy I am partial to the Snow Birds Flight Demonstration Team. I saw the Thunderbirds once when they went to the old Moose Jaw Air Show in Saskatchewan and was not impressed at all! The general concensiose around me was the same. Very lame show compared to our low powered Snow Birds!
I've never seen the Blue Angels but have watched a few of their shows on Youtube. Not bad for Americans! %^@ LL~ H^^

The Blues are the best. The look on the face of the old timer tells the whole story. H^^

I guess this is a better link, no sound track sync problems.
The Blue Angels are cool, but the old Blue Angels are cooler. The "Bearcat pilots" are a team called the Horsemen. They fly P-51's usually and are a four ship team on occasion. They did a year with the Bearcats and they were a pretty sight, I was priviledged to be able to see them three flights. This year the leader is Steve Hinton and they will do shows in P-51's, Bearcats and...F-86 Sabres for three of this season's shows. These guys don't fly just one ship all season, these guys are flying three distinctly different ships during the season.
I find that much more interesting.

Hello Gentlemen,
If you want to watch these extraordinary videos in High Definition, go here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jXgIdZkP3k
(to watch in HD mode go to the right hand bottom corner of the You Tube screen and select "720p". It will take more time to load but the resulting image is fantastic)
And of course THANKS A LOT to Bob Zambelli for posting them.
Enjoy,
Claudio H^^

I had the good fortune to see the Snow Birds perform in CA about 15 or so years ago. Someone knew someone and got them permission to practice over a vineyard about a mile from my house. Have to say, they are very very good . . . for Canadians LL~ LL~ LL~ (No really, they were great.)

I'm expecting Raptors with full Blue Angel paint jobs!
I watched them from the top of Building 841 at Holloman AFB many years ago. The show was magnificent with their F4s, until a collision.. One crashed immediately over the main runway (pilot bailed OK) and the other took a remote runway and landed safely in a net.
They are an awesome group of fliers. I do want to see them in Raptors. ;->
