Well I did not think we would have a big turn out for our Fall Fun Fly with the amount of replies to my email notice, but just like bees to honey we had a fair turn out. I think I counted 12 folks and almost everyone brought more then one plane.
We had great weather, and light winds. I got some very good feed back on my flying from some of my mentors. I think we had someone on the circle almost all day. Zuriel and I even put up two Bi-Slobs at the same time. It was a hoot!!! And I think the crowd enjoyed it as well.
Here are a few photos from the day.
Thanks guys!

Jim Lynch.
You won't find a nicer guy on the circle. H^^

Paul,
It's always a good time getting together with you guys flying. Are you still scared LL~
You are spot on regarding Jim Lynch. It was watching him fly his Bearcat in the 70's that made me really understand and want to fly stunt. Him letting me fly his gorgeous Super Ares yesterday was just too cool.

I still have a twitch....
And it went something like this....
Zuriel and I were two up with Bi-Slobs this weekend.
I remember at Brodaks I asked Dan Banjock what the key to flying two up and he said communication.
So I ask Zuriel how we were going to do this. He said more or less... just wing it. I reminded him of my conversation with Dan, and we should talk it up while flying.
So after Zuriel and I got airborne, Zuriel is at my back where I can not see him or his plane and he hollers, "I'm going inverted!" And I am thinking OK, but where inverted High or low, for all I know were are at the same altitude headed right at each other. And I head for the deck. That is when I told Zuriel that he was scaring me. We were having a blast until his Fox sucked up a bug or something and died.
Zuriel now get your Slob fixed ASAP and let's do it again real soon. And you looked good flying Jim's plane. A little scared but good. <=

We work so hard learning to fly 5 foot bottoms. Fly someone elses plane and you work so hard to fly a 10 foot bottom.

You guys put on a great Bi Slob show! It fit the mood of the afternoon perfectly! Let's do this again soon. It was great to see Jim fly his Super Ares again too.

Oh yea, next time someone else gets the lrftover burgers. Good thing Zuriel noticed them inm his truck. #^

Paul, the Philly Fliers were having a blast as well. We had some of our newcomers as well as Dan for both days. Shawn and I have been doing some Ringmaster combat lately and honing our skills I may add. The winds though were in the 10-20 mph range and consistent so every flight was a handful but we muscled through it. Those kinds of winds makes for some crazy overhead stuff. Dan even did some 1/2 a almost inconceivable. We really had a terrific time even though the winds were howling and the temps falling rapidly. I think we dipped down into the 30's Sunday night. Recently, Shawn and I were flying to slobs when we were both hanging them together. We were hanging them into a head wind which was pushing the planes backwards when we both decided to exit. The planes lazily rolled over , but we both hit each other. Shawn ate my lower wing and rudder which sent my plane into a spin. I recovered though and I still don't know how. His went upwards and recovered as well. We both flew out the flights laughing. Damage took a bit to repair but we had them both in operation for the following day. Ken n Shawn

Howdy Ken and Shawn! H^^
Sounds like you and Shawn are Slobbing it up. Good times he will remember the rest of his life I am sure.
I was amazed when Dan and Shawn flew at Brodaks. Shawn hovered while Dan did loops around his plane. Don't ask me how they did that.
You guys need to get some picture posted or better yet some video up on the tube.
Hope to see the Ken and Shawn Cook show at Brodaks next year.
Stay warm up there in cold country... @@^

Coool! looks like you guys had a lot of fun!
Do you get any pictures of the two slobs in the air? ;D

Howdy Ryan,
Long time hearing from you. Some of us "Old Guys" would love to see you slobbing it again and I could use some lessons too. I've made three Bi-Slob flights with one landing. Kinda hard on props :P
The only time they were both in the same frame, I was flying over your pop squeezing him down lower while asking him if I was making him nervous VD~ I couldn't help myself.

Hey Ryan! Missed you at the Millington meet. Hope to see you back at it soon. Get out there and put in some practice and maybe make a showing at NATS. There is always room for another Ryan (Ryan Young, NATS winner 2010) at the NATS.
