Title: F6F HELLCAT by Pat Johnston
Post by: larry richards on July 20, 2017, 10:28:28 PM
Does anyone know of a canopy that will fit Pat's F6F?  Got the kit and find nothing fits this size as far as the available canopies goes.  Anyone have this kit and or are building it, I would like to know where you get a canopy?

No solid lead to a source, but first I'd email Pat and ask. Next thought would be to carve out a pattern and get Mike Potter to pull one on his vacuum table. Both are members here on SH.  H^^ Steve

Thank you Steve for the info.  I'm not very good at carving things like that, so I think Pat reads this forum and see if he will have an answer.

You may want to check with Park Flyer Plastics:

He has dozens of canopies, might be worth a look.

It's a reach, but the old Jemco (R/C kit) Hellcat one might work. Thing is, it's probably impossible to find one. I'd say it's time to start carving a mold for this one.
