Extra Propeller

There is a wooden 9x5 Zinger out in the shed.  Any suggestions on how to convince my wife that I need an engine to go with it?  What kind of engine should I tell her that I need?  Also how will I break it to her that the engine will need an airplane?  What kind of airplane should I tell her that it needs?  I wecome suggestions from you more experienced guys.

I would start by telling her that the prop is now in remission and no longer contagious. It could at this point be brought back into the house. There are many services out there which will allow it to find a partner for life if you go on-line to help you. As far as an actual dwelling place once a mate has been found, try to adhere to a low cost invironment so the shock value is lessened for the mortgage. This prop seems to be headed in the right direction per your initial intentions, but remember. Don't rush things. This prop is now being added to a prayer list.

I am biased as I have had such good results with the "Brodak 25" and any of the warbird series of profile planes.  That Brodak 25 is such a pretty engine the looks should convince her.  Also showing her the planes and let her pick the one she likes.  Have fun,  DOC Holliday

I agree with Doc, the Brodak 25 is perfect. And the S1 Ringmaster by RSM is the perfect place to display this beautiful masterpiece with said Zinger 9x5 prop attached to it.
Thats my opinion, and I'm sticking with it!

The challenge begins!  As for an engine mate to the Zinger 9-5: Brodak 25.  Could possibly be that "Match made in Heaven"!  Plane to put it on?  RSM Ringmaster S-1 "Lite".

Absolutely, positively, just phone Randy Smith and order up any of his products, and some more props to go with it. Throw that 9-5 Zinger in the fireplace. Put your new engine on the charge card. Don't hide anything. Full disclosure is important. If she doesn't like it, she can be replaced. She needs to understand that.   Steve

   If your wife gives you a hard time about you're model airplane addiction/habit, explain to her that it could be WAY worse.
Women, booze, drugs, RC,    I'm sure she'd agree in a heartbeat if put in that perspective.

I'm a lucky man. Whatever modeling supplies/fix I need, I just put on a gift-list.  Birthdays, Fathers day and Christmas alway include some type of modeling goody.  If I can't wait, I just make the purchase and my wife won't say boo.  She understands that toy airplanes keep me out of trouble.

Ahhh...... Roger........... I remember well all the hoopla over Fast Freddie becoming the FIRST DRIVER TO MAKE OVER $100,000 IN A SEASON! Days have certainly changed........

Still have the family *recipe* around here somewheres.......  And Grandpa had a black Dodge coupe with a somewhat *DIFFERENT* engine up front and some, uh, *modified* springs in the rear......
