Hi Chris
The gloss catalyst will yellow in the can over time... (I have some as old as 6YRs sitting in a HOT Florida garage, still ok, and a little yellowed compared to my fresh stuff) which the KlassKote rep said was normal, and could still be used, but would yellow the finish just a hair, might not even notice. This might lead one to believe that the finish could potentially yellow over time as well.
My Legacy is at least 5Yrs old now does not appear yellowed, but no there is no clear over the KlassKote white.
On the other hand, my Avanti has the KK clear and is a couple years newer, and appears to be holding up OK. The only coloration on it is from a boo boo of my own making (air brush was not totally clean when shot initial clear over some of the trim. Doh!)
I'm not sure if Sun exposure has much to do with anything, but we get plenty of it around here. I surprisingly do have a little fuel drip staining from the pink dye under the fill vent on the side of the fuse. I would have thought epoxy impervious to this, and wasn't too careful about wiping up over the years. It may buff out, but haven't tried.
How long do we really need these things to last anyways? As long as its not very progressive, a little yellowing over time might not be a bad thing. If it's not in the first few years, I'd call it pretty good. After that, a little yellowing or patina could be considered a badge of honor that the bird lasted so long!

Stand by for a post with pic's of my new bird perhaps later this weekend. It has KlassKote and used both the colors and their clear. Gotta wrap the LO's and install the power train...bench trim, etc. I'll take some shots when done.
