Hello
I believe the Evo engines were made in China by Sanye who made all the ASP , SC, Chinese Magnum XL engines. SH according to their web site are made in Taiwan since 1989 but have a connection with Thunder Tiger if I remember correctly , who also made Magnum engines in Taiwan since 1979. The SH 37 would seem to be the engine you would want but not too many retailers around, if not an OS AX35.

The evo Control line .36 has been discontinued for some time now by Horizon Hobby
https://www.horizonhobby.com/airplanes/parts-electronics-and-accessories/
On this page use the filters for "show discontinued" and single cylinder
better yet
https://www.horizonhobby.com/product/evolution-.36-control-line-engine-with-muffler/EVOE0365.html
They do have some spare parts still but a royal pain to track down on the Horizon web site
I have one NIB remaining
It is for sale...Kevin Please send me a PM and we can discuss fair price

You can order SH engines here;https://www.mikegoesflying.com/
Mike Greenshields. Great guy and good service. Also has parts and Thunderbolt Glow Plugs.
Unfortunately SH does not make a Controline version at this time so you will need a Venturi and Needla Valve assembly. Jim Lee or Precision Aero can most likely help you with that.

I have both a Evo36 control line and a Evo 36 rc bought used and converted to control line. I actually like the converted rc motor better than the cl version.

Kevin, if you can handle the postage cost from Australia I have one NIB and one with only a few flights, both C/L versions. make me a serious offer
