Joe Perovich and I refer to him simply as "The Hammer".

Tania,
Can you give us any details about the Shark model with the contra rotating propellers?  Is one just wind driven or is it also powered by the motor?

It is true kontra prop from Pawel Dziuba, I already posted pictures somewhere, so posting again the same:

Thanks Igor.  I think I met Pawel either in Pecs, Hungary or Kiev back in 86 and 88.  His teammate Petre Zawada and I were good friends.  Randy Smith of PA motors fame, had a contra rotating prop on one of his models some years ago at the US Nationals.  Only one prop was driven by the motor.  It did have a distinct sound.  I wonder if he had any unique trimming problems.

Yes you can call that sound "distinct" (in IC age), it is better word then "terrible" (in electric age :-P ). I flew his model some monthes ago, for sure it limits precession, however our models are designed with experience of precession, so I think it will need little modified design. His model is inliner, so it is very close to ideal (even with LG and rudder), but it is still heavy, so I think it will need little time to convergate to model which can benefit from contraprop. The other question is life time, we will see.

This is the play list in youtube, where i posted most of the videos.

On some videos i did not put a name of competitor, because i am not sure if i will write it correctly and as well not sure who is who.

Time on time you can refresh the list, because I will keep uploading new videos. : )

Greetings and smile,
Tatyana
