Mike,
Randy Smith at Aero Products still lists them on his webb site. Just google Aero Products and choose the one that says World Class Aerobatic stuff.
When last I talked to him a few months ago He was still selling most of the line!
Kaz Minato use to handle them also but I don't think He is anymore! I couldn't find a listing for them on his site.

You can also buy direct. However, most are sold out.

Which one are you looking for?

Bill I did not have a particular one in mind at this time. I just wanted to see what they offered in their line. Probably it would be something equal to what a OS LA .46 would pull. What Enya engine would that be? I am not familiar with their nomenclature...
Thanks

Mike I think you would go for the ss.45 or .ss.50. These are ball bearing. There is also a plain bearing .45 II. These will be a tad heavier than the OS but all have more power and punch in the wind where at least I think the OS lacks. Not sure Randy's position on them but you can get them from Enya direct. They will cost maybe 20% more but I think are well worth the difference. Near impossible to wear out. Will pull a handful of airplane effectively.
If any downside it's just that they are fit really close and need a long break in period. You'll figure out through that that these will long outlive us all. I'm tempted on the newest one I have to run it on something like 15% oil RC car fuel a little while to see if it will show any signs of breaking in!

A couple of folks here in Tucson (me included) have the newer .50's and they are excellent. They're a little heavier than an OS 46LA but significantly more powerful also.
They also have a old school 45 that has an excellent reputation but I have no personal experience with it.
I also have one of the side exhaust CRX61's and it's a real power house that gives a good 2 X 4 stunt run or will run in a fast 4 or slow 2 with lower pitch props. I've seen two of the new rear exhaust 61's run and both were very impressive on pipes...I'm always surprised that the Enyas are not more popular than they seem to be. Especially now that PA's are becoming Unobtanium.
The Enyas are significantly less money than a RO Jett or PA and run very well. They are of course significantly heavier than the RO Jetts but usually that proves to be far less of a problem than a lot of folks think it should be. In my opinion the most important thing for a stunt engine is that it be friendly and controllable, and that it provides the necessary regulation to maintain a consistent speed in maneuvers and not "unload" too much in windy conditions (wind up is troublesome).
One thing about the Enya's that seems to be universal with them is that they all require a long break in term...I think a couple of gallons of fuel or more in some cases. My 60 took a gallon and a half of fuel on the bench before it would hold a consistent needle setting through a whole tank. That could account for some of the lack of popularity.
However at least anecdotally, they last forever!

Enya has three engines in the LA-46 class. The first two; SS40 S and SS45 S, are old school iron piston, plain front bearing, and require a lot of break in. I'm running an SS 45S in a Dixon "Stylus" and like it better than a stock 46LA. The third one is the SS45 Ring S PL-Pro. It has a ringed piston, plain front bearing, and has the upgraded fine thread NV that they put in their other premium engines. All good alternatives to a 46LA. 8)

If you can get hold of one, the 40XZS is a great engine. Very light and powerful, and runs beautifully. They're not cheap, but worth it. Unfortunately I think they're all sold out at the moment.
