« on: February 17, 2010, 12:45:51 PM »
Enya has done it again new motors made for The CL people
The 61 Rear  and  side exhaust Ringed  Control line motors

The new part numbers for the new ringed motors are:
61CXRS PRO. (for Control Line model)
61CXLRS PRO. (for Control Line model)
these are the  side  and  rear  exhaust versions

I just got these in stock this week and they are nice 61 size motors

How about the new 32 BB, Randy?  So far there seems to be very little info about its weight, output, run characteristics etc.

All of mine still run perfect! #^ #^ #^

I'm a little confused. I bought a ENYA 61 CX PRO almost 2 years ago. It looks just like the one in the picture. How is it that this is ENYA's "New Jewel"?

They now make it in a  rear exhaust version
Both side and rear EX are brand new  ringed motor, the one you bought is lapped

Hi Steve

The are very light ball bearing motor that have a small footprint, like the 28 based heli motors or a long Fox 35
I have sold about half dozen of the 32s and So far people like them I have heard no complaints
The Rear EX I have and am running here  run very smooth and powerful.

They are really good for  Ares  Nobler  sized  airplanes because of there light weight and smooth power

Randy, fair enough. I missed the ringed part. Other than that is there any difference in the run or power output?

Randy,
I am just curious are you planning to (and/or) are you actually working up tuned pipe packages for the rear exhaust 61 and 32 Enyas. That would seem to be a logical product to come from a world leader in pipe technology.

                                                                                       Just wondering,

Hi Pat

I have already done that, I have rear headers for the 61 and 32, plus I have CF pipes  for both  and slide on cnc Tube mufflers for both engines

Hi Bill

Not that I can tell, The  side Ex seems to be the same basic engine only it is now ringed, The Rear EX is very close but puts out more power in the stunt piped setup.
But basicly they are the same motor as you have

Hi Randy,

GOOD STUFF!! y1 (PE**) CLP**
I had a feeling you might have already made that happen in your usual professional way, but the post didn't explictly say, so I thought I would ask. I like the idea of a clean looking front end with 1 less hole in the side of my cowl.
It would seem that the enya 32 rear exhaust on pipe or muffler would be a "killer" choice for a smaller classic size airplane. It is a quality built and attractively priced rear exhaust engine that will be attractive to budget minded folks, such as senior guys like me on retirement income. It seems to fill a good market niche.

Does this engine have a 2-4 type engine run on muffler or is it high-rev / low-pitch type of run? Obvoiusly, you can assist someone on a pipe setup to do what is desired. What props would you reccomend for different setup?
Randy, thanks for what you do for the hobby.
                                                                               Best wishes,

Randy,
Are you sure about the bore\stroke ratio. That seems like an unusually oversquare configuration for any 60 2 stroke motor.

Hi Milton I will check it I did not measure I just posted what ENYA sent to me

by the way big bore works very well in producing torque at lower RPMs

The Bore stroke over square look correct, again when I get time  I will measure the bore

from the Enya site
Bore 24.8 mm              Power 1.70 HP
Stroke 20.4 mm                  Revo. range 7,500~16,000 rpm

It looks like Enya made the piston even bigger on the  CL ringed newest version

from the Enya site
Bore 24.8 mm      (25mm on the ringed one)        Power 1.70 HP
Stroke 20.4 mm                  Revo. range 7,500~16,000 rpm
