I found this plan in an old drawer and can't remember anything about it. I know its the Envoy and I bought the plan via Model Airplane News, but kknow nothing else about it. Who designed it, what time frame, what flying characteristics, etc. Has anyone built her; she looks like a nice ship. Any info is appreciated. If anyone has the original article and can scan me a copy, I would appreciate that very much. Thanks for any help. H^^

Well, I can't find it in the PAMPA classic designs book, so I guess it's later than '69. Sorry, not much help here. Ty will most certainly have the original copy of MAN that it's in.

Glenn,
This plane, the ENVOY, is a 1/2A stunter, designed sometime in the 1960's, I believe. I have the magazine with the article and plan. As I recall, it is simply a reduced version of the ARES and I believe the designer was using a Cox .049, either a Medalion or a TD. I can't remember much more without looking up the magazine article which I will do if I can find time over the next few days.........TDurrill D>K H^^

If that's the 1/2A Envoy, then it was in the 8/64 issue of MAN.

Design is by Edwin Hunt. Lou Crane flew one with a TD .049 at VSC in 2003 or 2004.
