Enterprise Hawker Typhoon kit/plans

Hi yall, I am looking for a Enterprise Hawker Typhoon profile kit/plans/airplane..
It is from the 50s and was 32" wing span, .09 to .19... It was the first new (big) kit that I ever had as a kid, had my first new engine on it, a K&B Torpedo .09..
I have a couple good .09 gh engines, now I just need the Typhoon in order to relive some of my miss spent youth..any help would be deeply appreciated, Thanks......Phil

I also had one of those as a kid. I have seen exactly one show up on the bay in all my looking and needless to say it went for a lot more then I was prepared to pay.

Dennis, I can,t even seem to find a set of plans.  The Typhoon would be simple enough to build from the proper sized 3 view I suppose though........Phil

Yep under the sport section, listed as Typhoon.   I too wanted to build one way back then, but didn't the correct size engine.   Thought it would have been great with a Cub .14.

Hey John, I had one as a kid. I got it for Christmas one year along with a new Green Head .09. It was the first year that the .09 was available. It was also my first brand new engine.
I'd like to relive that Christmas.          :-)   :-)

I built and flew a scientific custom Special back when it was new and powered it with a Cub 14. It........flew. Cubs were light, actually would start readily, but had the power of a corpse.

OK Cub's in all sizes were great sport engines.  Also look how many scale and sport planes the designer showed a Cub engine.   Yes, like a Fox they had to be broken in right.

Your being kind. They had a really conservative porting, a bad needle valve assembly, no real decent combustion chamber and most kids didn't use enough nitro to really get anything out of them. I never 'broke' in a cub in per se They were pretty loose to begin with and they were all steady runners and started well but they were just too mild to ever be considered as serious for anything but mild sport or free flight flying.
As to scale jobs I loved going to the scale part of any contest. The carnage was one of the high lights of the meet. Heavy models, under powered, tail heavy, and usually not flown by a skilled flyer, just a great builder. A real recipe for disaster.
