Gil, you can borrow my Hobbico starter and get  the largest spinner you can find to put on the thing be it plastic or alum. At any rate try to get one larger than the spinner nut that's on the engine now. You can turn around the rubber cone in my starter to it's flat side to use against the spinner. (Actually while I'm typing this I remember I have a little bit larger spinner in my stash that will work. ) It should spin the hell out of it. After this process you can then put the engine on EBay and with the proceeds buy a new LA 46, OR (2) GOOD  OS 40 FP'S, or a new LA 25. I know you've got more patience than I have in messing with them darn small motors, because I ain't got no use for them!!! It looks like it loads up real easy. Need a small prime syringe or nose drop primer and maybe heat the engine in the oven to about 200 degrees or more to help with ignition/combustion, possibly reduce flooding.
