I got a brand new in the box example out of my stash, a blue one with the metal rear needle valve bracket, and it measured .282" out of the engine and the blank spray bar measured .140"  I think?? I had a brand new LA.40 still in the original box and wrapped in a bag and pulled the venturi out and measured it and guess what it was?? The same as the .46. This was a later issue blue one with the metal bracket also.
  HAPPY EASTER!!

Thanks Dan (and Brett).

I just wanted to ensure I was using the OS stock size venturi on my 40 and 46 LA engines. Mine measures 7.2mm (which is 0.283")

I originally purchased my LA's NIB as RC engines and purchased venturis and spray bars separately to convert to CL. Mine are indeed the stock size.

And yes, the 40 and 46 use the same 0.283 venturi (as stock). And the same 3.5mm (0.138") spray bar for the 25/40/46 LA engines.
