OMG....Oh. My head is stupid .. Enya... Of course, Saito.. Excuse mua mw~ H^^

Probably enough power, but it will very likely be *massively noseheavy*.

Brett, this massively tail heavy. Or not? :!
Saito FA-30S weight: 9.2oz
Aero tiger .36 weight: 11oz
However, thank you. Design work started. Building too.
I want to try Geodetic wing.

Hi Alexey
An Aero Tiger weighs 7.9 ounces
and a Saito weigh much more than the Aero Tiger by a long shot
A PA 40 side EX only weighs 10.2 and puts out more power than a ST 60

Huh? I don't think so.

My lighten PA 65 doesn't even weigh 11 oz. no way an aero tiger is that much.

Hi, Randy, thank you. I did not know about the weight of Aero Tiger.
But the power more than a ST60 will be overkill for this small plane. Bill wrote in the article about 40 engine he has too much vibration.

I said The PA 40 has more power than a ST 60 , not the Aero Tiger.
The Aero Tiger is what Bill W runs in his small planes, like the Vulcan, and the Ares , The Aero Tiger is very very smooth engine,
The PA 40 is too large to put in a Vulcan, I only mentioned it because it is light and very powerful, It also does NOT vibrate much, it is one of the smoothest 40 out there, Billy W even talked about how smooth it ran with little vibration.
And Yes an Aero Tiger 36 is perfect for a Vulcan or Ares size plane. Hence the reason that Bill Werwage uses them in his small planes

Hi Alex,
Under Bill's advice, I put an Aero Tiger .36 in my I-beam Vulcan. I talked with Randy and run a Bolly 11-4 prop. My oldest son built Billy's '59 Ares and used a Magnum .36 XLS IIA (the small square head version). Both models fly great! They are two of the very best Classic designs.
Use the Aero Tiger if you can get one, and you will not be disappointed!

Oh, goodness, the Aero-Tiger is probably best 4-2 break engine ever made (only competition is the Retro 60 and the Rustler-Merco 40) and perfect for the Vulcan and similar Classic airplanes. It will provide much better power than a Saito 30 and almost certainly less vibration.
