Don't know what ever happened to it, but Santa gave one to my son, JJ, many years ago.  He is one of those that loves to fly, but does not like the building portion.  He is also a good pit man or pilot, depends on the situation.  The smile on that youngster sure brought  back memories.  Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR

I wore several of those out as a kid. I could still get them when my son was small. The originals were made by Stanzel out of Texas. About 15 years ago, I heard they were going to shut down, and I tracked down two more brand new ones. I think I had the hobby shop get them through Great Planes. I still have them stashed away. They don't seem like much to some, but I had a ball with them. I think the originals were called Electromic Flyers or something similar. Your son is the right age where he'll like them just as much as the big models he's flying now. Enjoy it while you can!.

Do you people not recognize the fact that this is an "indoctrination" video that has been widely circulated by the infamous JCT (Jive Combat Team).
The official JCT uniform is so obvious it screams conspiracy. It may seem to look like one of their younger, highly skilled spawn practicing for a contest (probably to be held in Oregon or Washington state) but mark my word it could quite possibly be this nefarious groups plan to expand into Colorado and Utah. Keep an eye out on Fox News for some shocking updates exposing the JCT in their quest to create "the Next Howard" and the cultural consequences that might bring!

That childs suit has skulls not stars!
He is some sort of "Howard clone" and we need to be afraid, very afraid.

No, Les. Those skulls represent all the heads that would roll when a grown Les would hammer the competition on his way to the top.  Only then, would the stars appear. BW@

That is cool Mike.  I had one of those as a kid.

I liked the three insides loops.  Looks like a stunt flyer in the works.  S?P

Only fare your turning Ryan to the dark combat side.  VD~

I've seen Howard flying one of those, but it had VG's on the wing and horizontal tail.  Orange and white, it was. H^^ Steve

I spent hours with mine when about that kids age,  while trying to learn the real deal on my Scientific Stuka.  Think it helped me get over being dizzy.  Not sure it would help me much now.

I had several of these, they were called "ElectroMic", reason unknown. Remco also made a foamy one of which I had a copy. Actually flew a little better, with a thicker wing. I learned to climb and dive by twisting the drive cable housing, seems to me the instructions said that was how to do it but I really don't remember for sure. I also got pretty good at throttling them but pulsing the button ala Jim Walker and his Sabre Dancer trick. Using that trick I learned to make pretty smooth landing approaches and landings. The only drawback was that at that I would fly it until I got sick, blaaahhh!!!
