Finally finished my Sea Fury. Flew a few short flights yesterday. Seems promising.

John Callentine is a superior woodworker.  A master craftsman by trade, in "real life" he produces high-end custom furniture, tables, etc.  At one time I had the address of his business website, but can't recall it now.

I should also point out that he is a very quiet, kind and modest gentleman - a valued member of our club here in Tucson.

Beautiful! I like the way you did the panel lines.

Wow John,
That's incredible.  It's even more beautiful than I thought it would be and that's really saying something.

Nice job John!

I'm working on a similar project, I hope it comes out as well.

Power is a Cobra 3520-14  700kv. Castle Ice lite 80, Hubin FM-9 timer. Still working on prop & battery. A 15" quadcopter prop pitched to 6" gives a 5.3 sec lap. The finish is nitrate dope thru the filler coats and automotive color & clear over.

Superb work. It easy to tell an outstanding plane from the mediocre.

An Electric Seafury surely that got the tick of approval from Al !

I'd personally like to see more closer photo's of the wing / panel lines - they looked airbrushed and VERY uniform which is a technique ive not seen too many times.

I was sitting here thinking to myself - its a pitty you didn't put some oil runs out of the nose air scoop vent like AL and Billy have .. HOWEVER.. after thinking about that for a while and realising it was Electric I thought to myself if I was doing that I wouldnt have dirty oil stains either .. keep it clean for electric ! HAHAH

Excellent work my friend.

Post more photo's of the internals, we all appreciate great construction ; dont be modest be proud and share that with your stunt community !
