Title: Electric in Orlando
Post by: Joao Mantovani on April 09, 2013, 12:21:00 PM
Hi everyone. I'm going to spend some time in Orlando and was wondering if I can find a shop or someone working with electric supplies around. I don't know anyone flying electric control line here in Brazil so far so I would need something like a full kit or as close to ready to use as possible. Does it exist up there?  ???

Appreciate the help!

Best

I'm not from Orlando, but south west of there by a couple hours. There is a great hobby shop in Orlando, Graves R/C. They used to support control line and had the full line of Sig & Brodak C/L kits. Its a big store, and I'd bet they have all the main stay epower supplies as well.

Just hit their web page, then look in the E-Power section here on the forum for the "list your setup" thread, and compare what people are using to what Graves R/C has in stock.

Hope that helps,

Hi Joao,

First, Welcome to Stunt Hanger!  The Amped up section is a great place to get tips on what is needed for a specific installation.  Brodak and RSM both offer complete systems for certain size models.  I am barely beginning to get into Elc/CL only have one set up and it is a complete system from Brodak.

The guys offering help are all good guys so I am sure they will do what they can.

Ola! Mantovani:

I Agree, there areŽnt many people flying electric CL competitivelly. in Brazil. The only one I can think of is Rodrigo Manzano from Londrina. He has already posted in this forum. He has been to the last WC in Bulgaria as a supporter.

In our local "Stunt Hangar" (VCC on Line) there is a forum dedicated to e-C/L, there is a lot of "tropicallized" information there:

Bob, is ESPRIT only mail order or a open shop that I can visit? I'm sure I can drive down there. Thank you for posting here.
