I understand completely Mike. I have really bad back problems and neuropathy in my feet. Other than that i am fine. But it does keep me from flying anymore. Like you, I stay active on this site, and still have my hobby of old ignition engines. I will turn 80 this year Lord willing, and am grateful for all the years that I have been blessed by this hobby. I started back in the 40's with stick and tissue models. Flew control line by the time I was 10. Flew R/C Pattern for 24 years before coming back to control line in 94.
It is a very wholesome hobby that teaches us so much we can use all through our lives. I was introduced to it early on in the middle 40's at Swope Park in Kansas City when I was about 6 years old. I was never the same after that. I have been involved in it almost continually all my life. But, all good things come to an end. I miss the people and the building and flying, but I have great memories. All the best to you.
