Should be perfect weather for the El Dorado contest this weekend. A high pressure system sitting right over it means light winds. I'm bringing two boxes of aviation books to give away. Don't miss this one.

James I have eleven more boxes of books and lots of WW 1 stuff.I'll separate them out and bring them to the club "half A day" next weekend. Along with lots of other books.

The winds were indeed light both days. Fierce competition on Sunday. I came away with some solid advice to help my scores other than the usual "you stink" and "are you flying or fighting off a bee with a broom stick?"

The El Dorado club did a great job, good times were had. Lots of flying and visiting.

From one of the El Dorado crew. A big thank you for all the folks that came and participated in the contest and or helped with all the chores that go with it. The weather was good, the hot dog vendor was good, the flying was good, but THE PEOPLE WERE FANTASTIC. Great fun and flying were had by all. I hope all enjoyed. I know I did. Thanks again for all who supported us.

Bill, there were a lot of pictures taken...I took a bunch with my phone. I've tried to post them but I keep getting a message that the file is too big.

When I click on the sideways photos and open the file, there appears a rotation icon to click and orient the picture upright. That's all I got....
