Title: Edge 540 Profile Prototype

all he has to do is install the wheel pants and then wait for a good day to test fly it.

Of course there is John Ashford who really builds a super nice plane @ $12 an hour and you supply all the needed materials. Oh well I enjoy building probably as much as I do flying.........and it does not wear me out as much as actual flying. I've got a Rayette (a profile jet style plane by Bob Gialdini) ready for a final coat of paint and then trim art work. It is just a winter project for here in north Texas. And I am getting itchy to go do some flying.

Hi Bob,

I already have a larger size built-up drawn and shown on the previous post and I have already
cut the sample parts but we just haven't built that prototype yet.

Specs on the big boy are:
WING SPAN: 60"
WING AREA: 708.5 SQ. IN.
LENGTH: 42 15/16"
ENGINE SIZE: .51-.65
