In the Old Time Stunt Drawing catalogue of Tom Morris's on page 37, there is a plan called the Eclipse by Don McGovern, from it looks like Flying Models, circa October of 1950. Does anyone know how I might get a copy of that plan or if it even exists. Haven't looked at the FM website to see, but thought someone might have one that I could copy or get a copy. It just has a certain appeal that I like, modern engine of course but it could be fun and haven't seen one from anyone.
Thanks,
Gerald Schamp

Go to the AMA Plans section. They have all the old plans that John Pond collected thru the years and used to sell. The site for AMA. www dot modelaircraft dot org

I don't see it listed in the Flying Models directory.

Hi Gerald;
I have the mag with that plan. I was typical of Flying Models at that time to have full size plans and/or patters for most of their published designs. FM was published bi-monthly at that time and the Eclipse was in the October issue. Neat little bipe! You may find a copy of the magazine on eBay or contact me off list and I can provide you with a copy of the plan and article.
Good luck and have fun,

Thanks Dan, I would appreciate the help, this was before I started collecting magazines, or even before I started messing with model airplanes. Anyhow, if you could send me a copy of the article I'd appreciate it, my email is geraldschamp@comcast.net. I'm in the PAMPA directory as well. Thanks again, Gerald H^^

Hi Randy,
There were a lot of "pre fire" plans that FM lost. And the online "Catalog" for C/L shows only part of what they actually DO have the last time I checked.
I have finally just turned to finding an alternative source for an FM plans that I want. It has been way too much hassle to get them through FM. Plus, their prices skyrocketed for no apparent reason. I can get accurate copies for between $2.85 to $4.95 for plans printed locally. I hate to do it, but enough is enough! LL~ LL~
