The issue of emotionless text forum writing is old as BBS days.
Best advice - If you think you need to infer something - Bracket it .. ( I mean this seriously...... )
Eg :
I saw Johnny BlogsVille and he was flying his new ship today - I have enclosed photo's so you can see how terrible the paint scheme was.

OR :
I saw Johnny BlogsVille and he was flying his new ship today - I have enclosed photo's so you can see how terrible the paint scheme was. ( I helped johnny paint it )

One version makes you sound like a Twat and your laughing AT someone..
One version lets everyone in on the joke between You and Johnny..
I agree - Ive always found this forum to be full of great information - lots of people sharing new idea's I akin reading here to be more enjoyable than reading a MAgazine on Stunt, or my local club newsletter. I am kept well informed as to the latest trends ,I can get information, tips and advice, and pass on some of my own to others. - We are indeed small, and without alot of new members advancing upward.
You certianly dont want to cause people to think " Why am I doing this..... I dont enjoy it anymore " ...... I know several people that after 25 + Years think the same way - and have since left the hobby.
I occasionally come under fire for cracking Jokes, making the odd quip However - I also like to throw down posts that are intersting to others to read ( I try to steer clear of DELIBERATLEY causing controversy , and also try to avoid insulting anyone.)
At the end of the day I enjoy all aspects of Stunt, from building to paint, to flying and meeting up with old friends again. There is only ever ONE winner in any event, and we dont have Giant prizemoney ( none ) to quarrel over.
