Am I the only one who has had problems with the terrible product?

I've had some leakage problems with double A's. No problems with any of the larger cells. The ones that don't leak seem to last longer than any of the other brands I've tried. They're all made in China. Probably in the same factory!!!

When I was flying ignition with alkaline batteries, Energizers had more current than all the others. Hence a hotter spark.

Took me a while to get back but here's another failure. >:( >:(
The "Use by" date is 2023 but the AAA batteries lasted less than a month before leaking and ruining the lights.
My F.I.L. thought they would be OK since they came with the three closet lights.
As shown in the photo, he was wrong. :'(
I had a Mag-Lite and a P.D.A. ruined by duracells.
I will use ONLY Energizer "Bunny Batteries". I've never had a problem with them.

No Bob, you're not. I will only use Energizers!

I left Duracell a few years ago on account of the leakage problems. Never again.
Energizers for us now.

With my high power rocketry hobby I have tried many brands of 9v battries for the electronics and have had very good results with RAYOVAC. They have always had more voltage out of the package than others and no leakage. same with AA.

In this case I suspect PDA = personal digital assistant. I guess the acronym is obsolete, along with dedicated PDAs :)
-
Correct, Pat.
Also meaning Personal DATA Assistant.
Mine lasted two weeks before the duracells leaked and ruined it.

Ditto Duracell problems! I have been using Harbor Freight batteries for flash lights and my blood pressure machine. The yellow package batteries don't last ass long as the orange packages do but are less expensive though. I will not use Duracell batteries any longer as I too have had the leakage problems!

Nimh rechargeable batteries are much less prone to leakage than any alkeline battery. The "low self discharge" variaty may only need attention once a year or so in lighting. The higher capacity versions (greater than 2000 mAH for AA size) are generally NOT the "low self discharge" and may not power a device after just a week or two.
