 Well, I built a Sig Magnum and a practice plane 26 years ago. Flew some contests, supplies and sport dried up around here, so up they went in the shop. Got them down the other day, still had some Taff's fuel after all these years, they fired right up. So, I thought why not show my grandkids what it was like. Flew a few times last week, now I am out of fuel. Where can supplies be purchased? Is Tom Dixon still around? I am running a Dixon Fox 40 with a bolly in the Magnum. That thing is some more powerful.Saw this sight, registered, it looks great. If someone could direct where to purchase fuel and such, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Mike.

Welcome. This is the premier site for Control line.

I'll let others chime in on fuel. There are several sources available.
Big thing is matching the fuel mix to your engine.

You can't go wrong with Sig fuel. The HAZMAT fee for shipping it is no fun, though. Brodak fuel is good too. They both have web sites.

There is no hazmat charge if you purchase by the quart. Much cheaper than buying by the gallon with hazmat. Worked for me last year at sig. R%%%%

I buy fuel from RedMax.
They ship quarts. They have NEVER used the word 'gallon' when I've talked with them.

Mike where are you located?   I know I bought fuel from Fox and got the case of four gallons as even though the quart is lower in price by the time you get enough to equal four gallons how much money have you saved.

Where do you live, you may be close to someone who could help. Did not think that that nno flew around here but found out there 6 people with in 20 miles.

Yes Tom is around and selling fuel. Google Tom Dixon Models and I believe his number is available on his web page.

Let us know where you are flying, maybe one of us is close enough we could fly together?
